Description:
Pelagothrix plancticola (FOISSNER,BERGER&SCHAUMBERG,1999).The blue arrowheads mark densely stained extrusomes.Specimen collected from an ephemeral freshwater puddle on the bank of the Boise river in Boise,Idaho.April 2007. Stained by the silver carbonate technique (Foissner,W. Europ. J. Protistol.27:313-330;1991).Brightfield.
