RUBIACEAE - Ixora (Ixora chinensis)
Description:
Locally, we call this the "Dragon Boat Flower". Although this plant is still can be found commonly in parks and gardens, wild growing ones become very rare in the countryside and is considered an endangered species. This photo was taken in the Tsing Yi Park here in Hong Kong.
