Useful and interesting plant to grow from seed and for landscaping and for revegetation projects. Occurs over a wide elevation range and is found in all counties in Utah.August 16, 2011, Wasatch foothills, Salt Lake County, Utah at approx. 5185 ft. elev.Postscript: taxonomy has changed, this is probably H . zionensis.
