Easy to recognize by its unmistakably, iridescent and saturated bluish color. Growing in several patches along 50 cm length of the branch. Patches up to 4 cm wide. Flesh rubbery, quite strong and firmly attached to the substrate. SP very faint, whitish?, accurate color undistinguishable.Spores smooth. Dimensions: 8.6 (SD= 0.6) x 5.1 (SD= 0.3) , Q= 1.68 (SD= 0.09), n= 30. Olympus CH20, NEA 100x/1.25, magnification 1.000 x, oil, in water.
