Description:

Description: Black Spiny-tailed Iguana (Ctenosaura similis) Río Lagartos, Yucatan, Mexico I found this Iguana behind the hotel. I was surprised due to the fact that instead of running away as usual, it just kept foraging and eating leaves. Later I was told that they feed the Iguanas some fruit every day, and that's what they are kind of tame. I like its tongue :D. Date: 10 October 2009, 22:53. Source: Ctenosaura similis.
