Description: English: Eryngium foetidum. Common names: Culantro. False Coriander. Sawtooth coriander. Stinking Shoreweed. Ketumbar Jawa (Malay). 假香荽 (Chinese). Family: UMBELLIFERAE Origin: Mexico and South America. A root decoction is used as a diuretic and to treat fevers. The juice from the leaves is used as a laxative and a remedy for colds.
