Chasmoptera superba (24741717098)

Description:
Description: Such a delight to see these again after two years. We called into the location at 11.30am and despite much looking, we couldn't find any. After visiting another location, we came back at 5.30pm and found them. Yay! It was fantastic to see one lift and float through the air with its hind wings parallel to the ground and spread wide apart. The white on the 'spoons' made it visible as it moved. Photos: Jean.
