Baroni & Ovrebo Image location: Bolinas Ridge, Marin Co., California, USA Growing with Manzanita and Chinkapin. Caps up to 8.9 cm across and tacky. Spore print white. Spores ~ 5.3-6.3 X 4.1-4.6 microns, ellipsoid and smooth. Gills and stem tend to stain reddish rapidly. Habitat seems to indicate T. manzanitae over T. dryophilum plus the staining and more orange brown colors.
