Plant was growing in a sandy pocket in a creek at Bendemeer on the NSW Northern Tablelands. It had the appearance of an annual, but this may have had something to do with where it was growing. The plant was 95 cm tall; well in excess of the 50 cm given for P bulbosa. Also has a very ryegrass looking stem/leaf sheath unlike others I've seen before.
