Reichert Image location: Brisbane Botanic Gardens, Mount Coot-tha, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia Abundant on woodchip mulch after inconsistent but frequent rainfall over several days. Typically gregarious, though solitary specimens were also found. Recognized by sight: Stipe very short; egg/volva off-white, with purple tinge; arms thin, wrinkled, branching and joining to form a vivid red lattice; gleba foul-smelling, distributed unevenly on the interior of the lattice. : For more information about this, see the observation page at Mushroom Observer.
