Description: Leucauge decorata , Family: Tetragnathidae Ventral view of 8mm spider producing silk, shot with internal diffused flash Leucauge (loo-kah-gee) is a spider genus with pantropical distribution. in greek, leukos means "white". These are orb web builders in shaded vegetation. The posterior end of the abdomen is extended beyond the spinnerets. The abdomen has two slight humps in front; its underside is green. They are active during the day. Distribution: India, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Northern Australia.
