Pedicellariae on Pycnopodia (3030514103)
Description:
Description: These fork shaped structures are some of the largest that are seen on this Sun Star, but are still less than a mm in length. They are found on all sea stars and also other Echinoderms and sometimes are three forks instead of two. They are used to clean the skin of the sea stars and others. Date: 13 November 2008, 15:44.
