Description:
Description: This is a Cryptochiton which has the flesh almost gone around its dorsal exposed plates. Many times just the white dorsal plate is found on the beach, but you do not see the partial stage of decomposition like this very often. Date: 11 February 2008, 15:51. Source: Decaying Gum boot.
