Description: English: This is the oldest aged freshwater drum (Aplodinotus grunniens) sagittal otolith (74 years). The otolith came from an archaeological site on Doty Island, Neenah, WI on the shore of Lake Winnebago. There were three specimens that were determined to be age 74. Date: 20 April 2009.
