Some studies of Avocets on Brownsea Island (10343477515)
Description:
Description: I went to Brownsea Island with the intention of photographing the Red Squirrels - well I saw plenty of Red Squirrels - all in the distance! A DWT ranger said that this year was a poor year for viewing the squirrels as the chestnut crop was so good they were not that bothered in ranging wide and far for food. So I made do with avocets - not a bad substitute at all. Date: 17 October 2013, 14:44. Source: Some studies of Avocets on Brownsea Island Uploaded by tm. Author: Ian Kirk from Broadstone, Dorset, UK.
