Description:
Description: Alkaloids in this native plant make it poisonous if ingested. It has a bulb similar to onions or other plants in the lily family. Sheep, cattle, and horses can coma and die if too much deathcamas is grazed, and early settlers likely succumbed to the plant as well if mistaken for similar edible species.
