Description:

Description: September 27th, 2022 5:00PM High of 75 degrees Fahrenheit Low of 42 degrees Fahrenheit 74 degrees Fahrenheit at capture Temperatures began to fall into the 40's at night a few days prior to this day, and on outings around then I noticed numerous snake sheds near ledges and under rocks. On this particular mostly sunny day, this large milksnake was discovered under a big, flat rock on a south facing dolomite glade. The rock was near the edge of where the sun was shining. The snake was warm upon capture and did not want to sit still. Washington County, Missouri. Date: Taken on 27 September 2022, 16:45. Source: Eastern Milksnake (Lampropeltis triangulum).
