Description: Crepis intermedia near road 592(?) about 2 km northeast of Mount Stirling, Spring Mountains, southern Nevada (elev. about 1900 m); although these individuals are less tomentose than usual for C. intermedia, the species is known to be highly variable, and the outer phyllaries are smaller than would be expected for C. occidentalis.
