Three fingered jack from southwest on PCT P3025

Description:
Description: English: Three Fingered Jack seen from the southwest. This photo was taken on the Pacific Crest Trail in Mount Jefferson Wilderness where the trail straddles Deschutes National Forest and Willamette National Forest. Due to unusually heavy wintertime snow accumulation in 2007–2008, this portion was still closed (despite the late season) to through-hiking due to extensive portions still covered by packed snow; some snow patches are visible in the trees. Foreground trees are Tsuga mertensiana. Date: 3 August 2008. Source: Own work. Author: EncMstr.
