Description:

Description: English: Burmese gerbils start out with a dark chocolate color. At around eight weeks they molt and their tail, nose, feet, and tips of their ears become black while the rest of their body stays the same color. Because Burmese gerbils are simply black gerbils with the colorpoint gene, nearly all of them have white stripes on their paws and chin. Date: 30 June 2006 (original upload date).
