Description: brook cinquefoil, Potentilla rivalis, White Mountains, elevation 2900 m (9520 ft). First and only known record from the White Mountains. Found growing on lowest part of dried bottom of Deep Springs Cow Camp pond. Probably introduced here by domestic livestock, although the species is widespread and native to western North America.
