CN: [Malay - Akar paku, Paku miding, Lamiding, Lemidi, Paku ramu, Paku mesin, Paku naga, Paku merah, Paku udang, Kalakai]. Native of China, Indo-China, Indian subcontinent, Malesia ecozone. A creeping or climbing fern common in the lowlands, in damp open places, thickets and secondary jungle. Ornamental. Shoots edible and eaten as vegetable.
