Porpolomopsis lewelliniae / Humidicutis lewelliniae

Description:
Not the best photo I've taken, but the best one I have of this species. This little fungus currently has two names... I was told by Genevieve Gates that it's now called Porpolomopsis lewelliniae, but it's also still known as Humidicutis lewelliniae. I guess time will sort it out and until then, the poor thing will just have to suffer an identity crisis. Photographed in the Franklin-Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, on the Franklin River Nature Trail.IDENTIFYING AUSTRALIAN RAINFOREST PLANTS,TREES & FUNGI - Flick Group --> DATABASE INDEX - TAGS
