Green Lacewing

Description:
A distinctively-marked Green Lacewing, which is notable in itself! I found this inside my "bug tent", which makes a pretty good malaise trap--insects fly in, but have trouble flying out. I captured this one and placed it in one of my "studios", a white plastic container. The spots look to me rather like injured areas on leaves, and are, perhaps, cryptic. Body length about 12 mm. See BugGuide account for identification.Leucochrysa_insularisPCCA20070901-6100A
