Amanita ananiceps group

Description:
There are a lot of white Amanitas out there. Dr Tom May of Fungimap kindly identified this one for me.The cap was white with a pale beige center, small white woolly floccules. The margin was finely striate with small floccules. The gills were white. The stipe was also white, tapering to the top, did not bruise yellow on scratching and its surface below the ring was woolly. Bits of flocking had fallen to the ground. The ring was quite prominent, membranous and hanging down, attached about 2/3rds up the stipe. There was no odour. We found two specimens. This was the largest, about 6cm across.
