Bukit Gantang, Perak, Malaysia.Magnolia coco (Lour.) DC. Magnoliaceae. CN:[Malay - Cempaka telur, Cempa telur, Cempaka gondok, Bunga kantil], Dwarf Magnolia, Coconut Magnolia. Native of temperate Asia (Japan, China); elsewhere cultivated. Woody medium size shrub, ca 1-2 m. Flowers single, rounded as an egg before opening ca 1.5-3.5 cm diameter; white petals and green sepal; intensely fragrant. Fragrance is outstanding especially in early morning.
