Description:
Hundreds observed in hot spring and when approached, most quickly leaped into water. Adults, juveniles and tadpoles viewed. Above grayish, brown, or greenish with dark spots and pale, dorsolateral ridges that reflected inward at rear; below white. Two males examined measured: SVL 77 mm (3 in.); SVL 50 mm (2 in.); juveniles measured 40 mm (1 in.); SVL 45 mm (1 in.).
