Description:
Phagnalon barbeyanum is a desert perennial. In Israel it is scattered (not common not rare) in the Negev Desert. It is very similar to the commoner Phagnalon rupestre which occurs all over the country. As u can see the whole plant is felted, the felt decreases water evaporation.
