Erebia fasciata is resident in Alaska and far northern Canada, and also in Siberia (Scott 1986). Habitats are moist cotton-?grass? swales in arctic/alpine tundra. Host plants are unknown. There is one flight each year with the approximate flight time late June-July 15 (Scott 1986).
