Description: English: Asterionella formosa infected with Zygorhizidium planktonicum Upper right colonie of four cells is uninfected Lower left colonie of two cells is infected, the lower cell has four sporangia in different levels of maturity. In the upper left cornor is a free swimming zoospore of the fungus. Nederlands: Asterionella besmet met een schimmel. De kolonie rechts boven is niet besmet.
