Description: Português: Nome cientifico: Galbula ruficauda, é encontrada em quase todo o Brasil, exceto nos extremos Norte e Sul. Essa espécie vive em orlas de vegetação densa, margens de rios e brejos, interior da mata rala e seca, em regiões campestres. Escava o ninho em barrancos argilosos ou arenosos, dentro da mata ou na margem do rio. Macho e fêmea chocam até quatro ovos por ninhada. Em geral, vive aos pares o ano inteiro, com os filhotes sendo alimentados por ambos durante algumas semanas logo após saírem dos ninhos. Mas uma característica especial do ariramba-de-cauda-ruiva é o canto.
