High spired shell, up to 7 cm, with angular nodules on spiral ridges; lip with fine teeth and ridges. Colour cream to pale with darker markings, or dark brown. Interior white. Habitat: eulittoral and deeper rocky areas. Distribution: Indo-Pacific. (Richmond, 1997).
