Harold & Telford (1990) reported examining 64 specimens of this species from Playa Lajas, Panama that were in D. Dexter's private collection. I have also collected specimens from Playa Las Lajas, Gulf of Chriqui that fit the description of this species. These were found in the intertidal zone, at low water.
