Description: Plain grey with black on anal fin and yellowish posteriorly over back (Ref. 48636). Pectoral-fin base spot black large. Anal fin black. Body depth 2.0-2.1 in SL (Ref. 90102).

Oviparous, distinct pairing during breeding (Ref. 205). Eggs are demersal and adhere to the substrate (Ref. 205). Males guard and aerate the eggs (Ref. 205).
