Description: This specimen is a Chaunax. It’s a member of the Chaunax fimbriatus group, and perhaps even C. fimbriatus. The systematics of the Indo-Pacific chaunacids has yet to be resolved, so identification is Chaunax, c.f. fimbriatus.
