1 Summary 2 Identification notes 3 References 4 Licensing Description: Paralepista gilva (= Lepista gilva) under conifers in a forest near Baden Baden, Germany. Date: 27 September 2007. Source: Self-photographed. Author:
User:Strobilomyces. Identification notes[
edit] Former Lepista inversa, former L. flaccida and former L. gilva are very similar and they have now changed their genus to Paralepista. The inversa and flaccida forms are considered parts of the same species (P. flaccida) but gilva should be distinguished at the species level.
[1][2][3][4] Funga Nordica says that P. flaccida does not have waterspots and also the cap colour and shallow depression agree well, so I am changing my identification to Paralepista gilva.

The other flaccida and inversa synonyms can be searched for and are redirected to Paralepista flaccida, so it is clear that the latter is the current name. Also P. gilva is covered as a separate species.
