Description: My lad said he had found a crows nest the day before and wanted a big fat chick with its eyes ready for opening so he could have it as a pet as i had had one when i was a kid and they make good companions. So off i went up, my lad said he saw something fly off although i didn't see no tail sticking out and didn't know what to expect and this was my surprise. I rattled off a few shots then came flying back down and couldn't believe what it had turned out to be. I can only surmise that the only reason i didn't see no tail was that the smaller male may have been sat instead of the more usual bigger female. Date: 6 May 2012, 08:40.
