Bulb solitary, subcylindric; tunic grayish brown, reticulate. Leaf 1; petiole 8.5--15 cm; leaf blade ovate to broadly ovate-elliptic, 16--22.8 × 7--15.7 cm, base cordate to deeply so, usually crisped, apex acute or acuminate. Scape 35--65 cm, terete, covered with leaf sheaths only at base. Spathe 2-valved, persistent. Umbel globose. Pedicels subequal, 2--4 × as long as perianth, ebracteolate. Perianth white; segments subequal, elliptic to narrowly so, 3--4.5 × 1.2--1.5 mm; outer ones boat-shaped. Filaments 1.5--2 × as long as perianth segments, connate at base and adnate to perianth segments; outer ones subulate; inner ones narrowly triangular, wider, ca. 1 mm wide at base. Ovary constricted at base into a stipe ca. 1 mm; ovules 1 per locule. Fl. Jul. 2 n = 16*.

Allium funckiifolium is a plant species from Hubei and Sichuan Provinces in China. It grows in moist locales at elevations of 2200–2300 m.[1]

Allium funckiifolium is unusual in the genus in producing one large, egg-shaped to heart-shaped leaf up to 25 cm long and 16 cm across. Scape is up to 70 cm tall. Umbel is spherical with many white flowers.[1][2][3]
