Demotina is a genus of leaf beetles in the subfamily Eumolpinae. There are over 50 described species in Demotina.^[4]^[5]^[6]^[7]^[8]^[9]^[10]^[11]^[12] The genus is native to Asia, Australia and Oceania, though one species (Demotina modesta) is an adventive species in the southeastern United States in North America.^[7] Some species are known to be parthenogenetic.^[12]
