Platanthera leucophaea (Eastern Prairie Fringed Orchid) is a species of perennial herb in the family orchids. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC and in cites appendix ii. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. Flowers are visited by Phasia aldrichii, Rhamphomyia hirtipes, and Coelioxys germana.
