Pouteria reticulata is a species of tree in the family Sapotaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Maranhao, Bahia, Ceará, Amapá, Cerrado, Pará, Caatinga, Piauí, Alagoas, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, SãO Paulo, Pernambuco, Rio Grande Do Norte, Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Tocantins, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves and berries. Individuals can grow to 26 m.
