Brachyrhaphis episcopi (Steindachner 1878)

Gestation lasts for about 28 days. Female gives birth to 10-15, rarely 20 or more, young.

Inhabits calm zones of flowing waters, standing waters, marshes and other shallow areas (Ref. 26130).
