Solidago speciosa (Showy Goldenrod) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Southern Plains Bumble Bee, Eristalis flavipes, and Eastern Carpenter Bee.
