Danio rerio (Zebra Danio) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family Danionidae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to the Palearctic and Asia. They are diurnal omnivores. Individuals can grow to 3.8 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on swimming to move around.
