Potamotrygon motoro (Ocellate River Stingray) is a species of Myliobatiformes in the family river stingrays. They are listed in cites appendix iii. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Neotropics. They are solitary, nocturnal carnivores. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on swimming and pectoral fin swimming to move around.
