Mystus pelusius, is a species of catfish of the family Bagridae. It is native to Iraq, Turkey and Iran.^[2]

This species grows to a maximum length of 17 centimetres.^[2] It lives in rivers and ponds, often amidst vegetation in muddy waters.^[2] It is considered to be a rare species, but it has a wide distribution, so it is listed as a least-concern species on the IUCN Red List.^[1]

Mystus pelusius is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de stekelmeervallen (Bagridae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1794 door Solander.

黏鱯，為輻鰭魚綱鯰形目鱨科的其中一種，為亞熱帶淡水魚類，分布於亞洲伊朗、伊拉克及土耳其淡水、半鹹水流域，體長可達17.8公分，棲息在底層水域，生活習性不明，可做為食用魚。
