Gymnotus pantherinus (Panther Knifefish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family nakedback knifefishes. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 23.6 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on anal fin swimming to move around.
