The turquoise darter (Etheostoma inscriptum) is a species of ray-finned fish, a darter from the subfamily Etheostomatinae, part of the family Percidae which includes the perches, ruffes and pike-perches. It is found in the Edisto, Savannah and Altamaha River drainages of North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. It inhabits rocky riffles of creeks and small to medium rivers. This species can reach a length of 8.0 cm (3.1 in), though most only reach about 6.0 cm (2.4 in).^[2]

Etheostoma inscriptum is een straalvinnige vissensoort uit de familie van de echte baarzen (Percidae).^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1878 door Jordan & Brayton.

刻印鏢鱸為輻鰭魚綱鱸形目鱸亞目河鱸科的其中一種，分布於美國北卡羅來納州、南卡羅來納州及喬治亞州的Savannah河、Edisto河及Altamaha河流域，體長可達8公分，棲息在岩石底質的溪流。
