Melanotaenia arfakensis (Arfak Rainbowfish) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family rainbowfishes. They are listed as endangered by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 8.0 cm. They have sexual reproduction.
