Dryas octopetala (Eightpetal Mountain Avens) is a species of shrub in the family Rosaceae. They are native to Alaska, Western North America, Canada, North America, Greenland, and The Contiguous United States. They have white flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Hecla Sulphur, Megaselia diversa, Botanophila estonica, and Spilogona almqvistii. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
